The Bose 321 GS has now evolved into Series III - being a home entertainment system that delivers cinematic 2.1 channel sound. The higher end model, the Bose 321 GSX provides an additional feature of storing 200 hours of music from your CDs that is digitally stored into the built-in hard disc inside the media center. Diehards of 5.1 encoded media can enjoy improved realism thanks to Bose's digital 5.1 decoding circuitry. Couple this with it's proprietary 'Videostage' decoding, input from your DVD, VCR, music CD or even old mono TV, will be transformed to enable you to experience high quality multi channel surround sound.

With regards to the 321 GS/GSX performance, those who are looking for a 5.1 (or better) home theater system, in all honesty won't be impressed with this particular product. But the surround sound quality it produces is somewhat close but definitely won't match or surpass a 5.1 system with 4 speakers. Rather for the casual enthusiast, the 'TrueSpace' digital circuitry employed by the system allows delivery of spacious, multi channel audio performance without having to pay an arm and a leg. It's for the typical consumer that desires great sound and could get pleasure from just what Bose's product offers.

It is by no means the top of the line, however for just what it offers, you cannot beat the quality Bose provides. Make sure you register your warranty as even a 0,000 car may break down. Be conscientious that you are purchasing a two speaker system that does a remarkably decent job producing great surround sound performance.

What you'll get out of the box:
Main hardware being 321 GS/GSX Media Center integrated with AM/FM tuner and progressive scan DVD/CD player, 2 speakers and a subwoofer. Other components is a universal remote control with batteries, setup tutorial disc, user's manual, speaker cables, power cables, audio and video cables (including HDMI), AM/FM antenna and rubber feet for all speakers. Shipping weight about 40lbs/20kg.
